Three Big Races

Rhinebeck Crew ended the season with a succession of three regattas on the Hudson River, with many spirited performances:

Dutchess Cup – May 29

HVRL Championships – June 1

Row for the Cure – June 2
This fundraiser for breast cancer causes was a festive affair highlighted by Rhinebeck’s two cancer survivor coaches, Casey Heady and Rich Humphrey, in the winning 4 boat at the end of the regatta!

One final big thanks to all the rowers for rowing hard and making the Rhinebeck Crew family proud. We had a great year and we hope to see all of our seniors back next year at the river! Thanks also to all of the coaches and parents who have given so much of their time and energy to such a wonderful group of young student-athletes.

A very special shout out to the parents who showed up at the river at 5:30am with the rowers on race days to help set up and get cooking in the cold and dark (and sometimes rain!), as well as those who stayed until the end of our regattas to pack everything up. We could not have done it without you!!!
